About the Role:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is a key member of our team at Equity LifeStyle Properties, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance at our resort communities. As a seasoned professional in the field of housekeeping, you will oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, ensuring that our properties meet the company's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Interview, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Supervise the cleaning of internal locations, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and removing trash, to maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents and guests.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure that our team has the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- Maintenance Coordination: Report any maintenance concerns to the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that issues are addressed promptly.
- Customer Service: Assist the Property Manager with customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing exceptional service to our residents and guests.
- Support Functions: Assist maintenance staff and other staff members as needed, and drive to pick up supplies and run other errands as required.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a housekeeping role, with a strong background in staff management and customer service.
- Skills: Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
