Key Responsibilities

  • Manage waste disposal by emptying bins and replacing liners.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of furniture surfaces, including desks and tables.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of walls, windows, and other surfaces.
  • Conduct floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing.
  • Handle carpet care through vacuuming and shampooing.
  • Stock and clean restroom facilities, ensuring they are well-supplied with necessary items.
  • Utilize specialized cleaning methods and agents for specific tasks.
  • Oversee the laundering of linens and towels, including sorting and operating machines.
  • Execute ironing and folding of laundered items for distribution.
  • Perform minor repairs on damaged items as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional qualifications may be considered based on agency requirements.

  • Proficient in basic cleaning methods and equipment usage.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions effectively.
