Key Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Executive collaborates with directors and department leaders to implement HR service strategies; ensures HR programs, services, and initiatives align with departmental and organizational objectives. This role encompasses planning, directing, developing, administering, interpreting, and organizing policies, activities, and personnel within the HR department. Responsibilities include ensuring legal compliance and executing the organization's mission and talent strategy. Duties involve wage and salary management, recruitment, employment processes, benefits selection and management, workers' compensation, unemployment, employee relations, and payroll oversight. Acts as an employee liaison, participates in leadership discussions, and engages in organizational operations, meetings, and projects.

Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is advantageous
  • Comfortable in a highly visible leadership role
  • Exemplary integrity, ethical standards, and reliability
  • Strong listening skills, empathetic, and personable
  • A proven leader with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and educating department managers and employees on HR matters
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to guide HR staff and department leaders towards achieving organizational goals
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks
  • Strong written communication skills for managing extensive data and documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel) and various HR software programs, including HRIS
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to identify and resolve HR-related issues
  • Budgeting skills for efficient management of HR finances and resources
  • Knowledge of local and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Flexibility to adapt to the organization's evolving needs
  • Training and development skills to attract, retain, and enhance employee performance
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks as necessary
