Multidisciplinary Speech Therapist Opportunity

Glenwood, Inc., a progressive multi-site agency providing comprehensive services for individuals with autism and mental health needs, seeks an experienced Certified Speech Language Pathologist to join our Allan Cott School team. This dynamic opportunity offers a chance to work predominantly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other language disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify specific speech, language, and communication needs, developing tailored treatment plans that establish baseline skills for future progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, sharing information with staff and parents regarding overall language and communication programming.
- Ensure seamless integration of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) requirements, working closely with educational teams.
- Consult with Local Education Agencies, insurance providers, and funding sources to procure and maintain Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services hours in the electronic health record, adhering to best practice standards.
- Prioritize high-quality therapy services, working collaboratively with agency professionals to meet the unique needs of each individual on your caseload.
- Foster a professional environment by upholding the Code of Ethics and demonstrating respect for clients, families, visitors, and colleagues.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, fulfilling requirements and assignments as needed.
- Master's degree and certification in Speech Language Pathology.
- CCC-SLP required.
- Current AL driver's license must be insurable through Glenwood's contracting insurer.
- Certification in agency-provided training in 1st Aid, CPR, and MCS (Managing Crisis Safely).
- A competitive salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
