Expert Staffing West is seeking a part-time AutoCAD Technician specializing in 2D design to support the creation and modification of Record Drawings. The projects may encompass various fields including Architectural, MEP, Fire Life & Safety, Landscape, and other construction-related disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Construction Records Manager and Senior AutoCAD Technician on a range of guided assignments.
- Revise, update, and reorganize existing AutoCAD drawings.
- Create new Record Drawings as required.
- Conduct field verification to ensure accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with AutoCAD 2D and a foundational understanding of construction practices.
- Prior experience in an administrative role is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with a flexible approach to tasks.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Professional; knowledge of Archibus or SharePoint is a plus.
