Job Title: Plant Manager

3M is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to lead our operations in Chelmsford and Haverhill, MA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving strategic planning and budgeting to achieve sustainable improvements in factory cost.

The Impact You'll Make
  • EHS stewardship and compliance to ensure operational Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance and accountability.
  • Driving strategic planning and budgeting to drive sustainable improvements in factory cost through application of continuous improvement, entitlement thinking, yield improvement, and plant productivity.
  • Managing supply chain execution and inventory management to ensure appropriate customer value stream performance through responsiveness, delivery performance, LTA, capacity management, supplier management, and appropriate inventory management including working and non-working inventory.
  • Accelerating value creation for our customers through responsive end-to-end supply chain performance and prompt resolution to customer inquiries.
  • Developing manufacturing strategies for a high-performance workforce, capital equipment planning, technology advancement, and employee and leadership development.
  • Championing inclusive programs that create a great place to work for all our employees.
Your Skills and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Four (4) years of supervisory and/or management experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include experience managing and/or supervising direct reports, demonstrated strong leadership ability and history of leading high-performance teams, demonstrated understanding of principle-based leadership and behaviors, Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline, experience in leading strategic and organizational development, operational excellence, lean implementation, financial accounting, and effective communication skills.
Work Environment

Chelmsford, MA

May include up to 10% domestic/international travel.

Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $183,301 - $224,034, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
