As an Electrical Engineer focused on mission-critical projects, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our engineering initiatives at JE Dunn.

Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Core Mechanical and Electrical Engineer team, you will:
1. Embrace and actively contribute to our safety and quality initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to an injury-free workplace.
2. Engage in entry-level mechanical and electrical tasks, including field construction activities.
3. Learn to prepare budgetary mechanical/electrical estimates based on program and schematic design information using automated estimating systems.
4. Assist in evaluating mechanical and electrical options during the preconstruction phase and conduct systems analysis for selected projects.
5. Develop mechanical and electrical scopes of work to facilitate the bidding process.
6. Participate in bid analysis and provide insights during subcontractor selection.
7. Help establish sequencing requirements for various systems to ensure timely project completion.
8. Gain familiarity with design documents to identify potential quality issues and contribute to constructability reviews.
9. Conduct job inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
10. Support the shop drawing and submittal process to align with contract documents.
11. Assist in the commissioning process, including the creation of pre-functional checklists and functional testing procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to the core responsibilities, you will:
1. Contribute to the development and execution of the Commissioning Plan for assigned projects.
2. Collaborate independently with project teams regarding deliverables.
3. Take ownership of work products and communicate effectively with clients, representing JE Dunn professionally.
4. Review compliance of shop drawings and submittals from subcontractors before they are sent to the design team.
5. Lead the mechanical and electrical coordination efforts.
6. Participate in all construction phases, from startup to closeout, ensuring successful project delivery.
7. Develop schedules for mechanical and electrical systems.
8. Conduct site inspections and provide reports to the project team.
9. Create constructability reviews and submit findings to the project team.
10. Provide budgetary mechanical/electrical estimates for assigned projects.
11. Participate in the completion of bid analysis and contribute to subcontractor selection.
12. Identify potential quality issues in design documents and assist in developing constructability review reports.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction and/or engineering is required.
