Key Responsibilities:


Assist in the management of the team under the Supervisor's guidance, fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes safety, quality, and production goals.


Support the enforcement of company policies regarding attendance and punctuality, utilizing established disciplinary protocols to address issues transparently; maintain accurate documentation, conduct performance evaluations, and track employee attendance and safety records.


Facilitate training sessions for new hires, monthly safety discussions, job-specific training, and annual refresher courses, ensuring all training is properly documented.


Recruit, develop, and mentor team members to enhance organizational strength and performance.


Maintain daily communication with the Supervisor and plant management to ensure alignment on production objectives.


Assist in implementing efficient manufacturing processes, including staffing workstations effectively, optimizing equipment usage, minimizing waste, enhancing quality, and reducing costs; report on production performance metrics to the Supervisor and Plant Manager.


Ensure compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management regulations across all facility operations, procedures, and processes.


Manage daily staffing requirements on assigned shifts to achieve production targets efficiently.


Complete additional projects as assigned by management.


Be prepared to work a variety of production shifts as required by management.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a full-time capacity.
  • Familiarity with DOT, OSHA, and other safety and environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on team collaboration and building positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with a proven capacity to multitask effectively.
