Job Overview:

As a Transport Management System (TMS) Functional User Representative (FUR), you will be a proactive individual with strong analytical capabilities, dedicated to enhancing processes for transportation-related initiatives.

You will uphold high standards of integrity and accountability while thriving in an international setting. Within the Engineering department, your contributions will enhance the services UPS provides to its clients by streamlining processes and leveraging technology.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage various projects from the initial requirements gathering phase through to implementation.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on UPS TMS and associated IT systems, collaborating with internal stakeholders during project execution.
• Drive process redesign and optimization for operations within UPS Managed Transport Services.
• Oversee the onboarding of new clients onto UPS TMS and facilitate the transition to UPS Operations.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse group of SMEs globally, including operators and management across Europe, UPS colleagues in other regions, and IT personnel.
• Your daily tasks may range from diagnosing system issues to presenting investment proposals to senior management.
• Support strategic initiatives aimed at transforming IT systems, infrastructure, and tools.
• Provide training sessions and demonstrations of UPS systems.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Warehousing and/or Transportation.
• A strong enthusiasm for Transportation, Systems, and IT development.
• Familiarity with ERP, WMS, and/or TMS platforms is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English is required (additional languages such as Dutch, German, or Polish are a plus).
