Job Overview:


As a Transport Management System (TMS) Functional User Representative (FUR), you will be a proactive individual with robust analytical capabilities, dedicated to enhancing processes for transportation-related initiatives.

You will uphold high standards of integrity and accountability while thriving in a global environment. Within the Engineering department, your contributions will enhance the services UPS offers to its clientele by refining processes and engaging with technology.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee various projects, from gathering requirements to execution.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on UPS TMS and associated IT systems, collaborating with internal stakeholders (Operations, IT, etc.) throughout project execution.
  • Drive process re-engineering and optimization for operations utilizing UPS Managed Transport Services.
  • Lead the onboarding of new clients onto UPS TMS and facilitate the transition to UPS Operations.
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse group of SMEs globally (e.g., Operators and management across Europe, UPS IE colleagues in other regions, IT personnel in the US and India, clients, and vendors).
  • Your daily tasks may range from diagnosing a system issue to presenting a proposal for an investment to senior management.
  • Support strategic initiatives aimed at transforming IT systems, infrastructure, and tools.
  • Provide training sessions and demonstrations of UPS systems.
Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Warehousing and/or Transport.
  • A strong enthusiasm and interest in Transportation, Systems, and IT development.
  • Familiarity with ERP, WMS, and/or TMS platforms is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English (knowledge of Dutch, German, or Polish is a plus).
