Madera Community Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our Critical Care Unit and Respiratory Therapy Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care services, managing departmental operations, and promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance the overall quality of care.
- Lead and manage a team of critical care and respiratory therapy professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of practice to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and equipment to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research, technologies, and best practices in critical care and respiratory therapy, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and departmental performance.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Current State of California Board of Registered Nurse License.
- National Certification in Critical Care Services.
- American Heart Association BCLS, ACLS certification.
