About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Community Medical Centers of Fresno, CA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient urgency and priority, taking and forwarding messages as needed.
- Take vital signs, administer injections, and perform other medical procedures as required.
- Ensure that appropriate tests are completed prior to the doctor's examination.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate.
- Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California.
- 1 year of experience in the medical field, with previous experience in giving injections.
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA).
