Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Preschool Lead Educator to support the individual needs of our students and promote their independence within a nurturing and trusting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a creative, age-appropriate curriculum for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months.
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all children through diligent supervision.
- Address the physical, socio-emotional, and developmental needs of each child in the classroom.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and foster positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community.
- Maintain effective classroom management to create a consistent, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of child development principles and instructional strategies.
- Utilize proficient technological skills, including Microsoft Office, to enhance educational experiences.
Requirements: In accordance with Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all candidates must undergo and successfully complete a state and federal background check as a condition of employment.
