Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain power generation equipment, including boilers, pumps, and turbines, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the plant and to address any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve plant efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in industrial plant operations, power generation, or a related field.
  • Experience with boiler operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of power generation equipment and systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions

The Utility Plant Operator II will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to loud noises, extreme temperatures, and hazardous materials. The position requires the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in areas with limited visibility.
