We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accountant Clerk.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records while optimizing efficiency and adherence to accepted accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Examine Financial Statements:
- Review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies or errors in financial records.
- Perform Monthly/Weekly/Daily Bookkeeping Tasks:
- Execute bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliation.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel:
- Highly proficient in the use of QuickBooks Online and Excel for managing financial data.
- Experienced in pivot tables, cross-referencing, and VLOOKUP functions in Excel.
- Inspect Account Books and Systems:
- Regularly inspect account books and accounting systems to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to accepted accounting procedures and recommend improvements when necessary.
- Organize, Analyze, and Maintain Financial Records:
- Organize and maintain financial records in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Conduct analysis to provide insights into financial trends and performance.
- Conduct Bank and Cash Statement Reconciliation:
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank and cash statements.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or 2 or more years of equivalent experience.
- Certified in QuickBooks Online.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
