Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high acuity child care services to our clients. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will be responsible for implementing physician-prescribed plans of care, conducting patient assessments, and administering prescribed medication and treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify care needs and develop individualized plans
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to family members to promote patient well-being
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
