  • Continually improve and upgrade skills and knowledge of the emergency medical profession
  • Render competent patient care in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings
  • Comply with all applicable protocols for emergency treatment and transportation
  • Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment
  • Communicate patient information to other healthcare professionals
  • Accurately and completely document patient information
  • Demonstrate physical ability to perform all tasks required as an EMT
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Completion of EMT Basic/Intermediate program and acceptance for licensure in the state of employment
  • One year related experience preferred
  • Maintain current Valid Driver's License
  • Maintain current and valid Ohio EMT Intermediate Certification
  • Maintain current CPR (Health Care Provider minimum) certification
