Vascular Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform various vascular ultrasound procedures, utilizing independent judgment and initiative to provide reliable diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
- Develop and maintain a good knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology, ensuring accurate and effective patient care.
- Provide care and service that meets the development needs of patients ranging in age from adult to geriatric, adhering to standards of practice and collaborating with other healthcare team members.
- Assist with patient care activities, help maintain supplies and equipment, and participate in performance improvement activities as assigned.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including test results and reports, to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Licensure or certification: RVT or Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in the field of Vascular, BLS Certification.
- Educational requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum experience: 0-2 years of vascular experience.
- Preferred licensure or certification: RVT or Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in the field of Vascular.
- Preferred educational requirements: Associates Degree.
- Weight lifted: Up to 100 lbs, occasionally 0-30% of time.
- Weight carried: Up to 50 lbs, occasionally 0-30% of time.
- Vision: Moderate, frequently 31-65% of time.
- Kneeling/Stooping/Bending: Frequently 31-65%.
- Standing/Walking: Frequently 31-65%.
- Pushing/Pulling: Frequently 31-65%.
- Intensity of work: Occasionally 0-30% of time.
