We are seeking a skilled Blender Operator to join our team at Kayem Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our blending equipment, ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain blending equipment to produce high-quality products
- Verify blend sheets and check meat and spices against written formulas
- Meet with production team members to discuss issues and updates
- Document process and productivity information
- Enter information into MES system and report any problems
- Perform lockout/tagout and wash down of blender as needed
- Stop production line as needed to address any issues
- Assist team in dismantling and assembling equipment
- Meet with supervisor at end of shift
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work in a wet, cold, and loud environment
- Previous food manufacturing experience a plus
