Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MOT Supervisor to join our team at Allan Myers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of traffic on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Traffic Control Plans: Create and execute comprehensive traffic control plans to minimize disruptions and ensure public safety.
  • Manage Traffic Control Devices: Install, operate, maintain, and service traffic control devices, including signs, cones, and barriers.
  • Lead and Train Crews: Supervise and train flaggers and other crew members to ensure they are equipped to handle traffic control tasks.
  • Monitor and Report: Conduct daily inspections and maintain accurate records of traffic control activities, including maintenance logs and reports.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Serve as a liaison between our company and project owners to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education: Minimum two years of lane closure supervision experience and a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications and Licenses: VDOT Intermediate Traffic card and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR record required.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proven working knowledge of traffic control devices, ability to work under pressure, and fluency in Spanish a plus.
