Role Overview: Purchasing Analyst
Are you looking for a career that will significantly influence company revenue and profitability? Do you pride yourself on being detail-oriented, organized, and financially savvy? As a Purchasing Analyst at Eastwood Homes, you will play a crucial role in enhancing company profitability by estimating labor and material costs for all product designs. This position allows you to create home budgets, generate competitive bids to maximize return on investment, and conduct quality audits to ensure the precision of our cost management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive vendor bid pricing and documentation.
- Ensure the accuracy of the cost management system to achieve 100% precision.
- Input necessary local billing documentation for weekly accounts payable processing.
- Estimate costs associated with labor and materials.
- Establish and update home budgets to reflect current costs from sale to closing.
- Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft products and Windows-based accounting software.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Construction Management or relevant estimating experience with a production builder.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and background screening.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional attire and personal hygiene to represent the company appropriately.
