Job Description:

At Walgreens, we're committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Process prescriptions, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers and support the pharmacy team in achieving sales goals.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including registering sales, handling cash, and processing manual claims.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of good relationships with the local medical community.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
