About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Client Service Coordinator to join our team at Banfield. As a Client Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in driving the flow of clients and pets through our hospital, maximizing the productivity of our veterinary medical team, and ensuring exceptional client care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Actively promote hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
  • Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through efficient and productive hospital operations.
  • Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times, including welcoming clients and pets, ensuring their comfort, and educating them about their pet's health.
  • Assist incoming and outgoing clients with necessary documentation, information, and instructions.
  • Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and utilizing proper opening and closing procedures.
  • Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks under distracting conditions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
  • Strong client service skills and ability to provide attentive, courteous, and informative service.
  • Ability to accurately and consistently follow instructions and provide directions.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Comfortable and confident use of a computer and specialized software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
