Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Job Summary:

This 13-week travel assignment offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a leading healthcare provider. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radioactive materials and the operation of imaging equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and shielding
  • Develop and process images for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements:

To be considered for this travel assignment, you must have a strong background in nuclear medicine technology and be certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
