Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of duties required to prepare patients and conduct diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for nuclear medicine examinations, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and computers, to conduct diagnostic and therapeutic examinations
  • Update, log, and perform Quality Control surveys for contamination of daily shipments of stock radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with NRC regulations
  • Assure the radiology suite and adjacent clinical and common areas are prepared to receive patients and visitors
  • Support a culture of safety and quality in the radiology department
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) and CT Technologist (ARRT CT)
  • SCRQSA certification
  • Operating knowledge of Nuclear Medicine equipment, PACS, and RIS
  • Knowledge of bloodborne pathogens and universal precautions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of IQ-SPECT Software
