Respiratory Therapist, PRN

Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures, and critical care procedures in adult care areas. You will also be responsible for blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment, and patient education.
**Responsibilities:**
* Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
* Conduct general respiratory care procedures, including oxygen therapy and ventilation
* Provide critical care services, including hemodynamic monitoring and life support
* Analyze blood gas samples and interpret results
* Maintain and manage all equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices
* Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
**Qualifications:**
* Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
* Previous working experience in respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation
* Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
* Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS
**Additional Requirements:**
* Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
