Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Speech 101, a basic oral communication course. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the class, grading student speeches, and teaching basic communication processes.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Speech 101 face-to-face, covering a multitude of speech topics
  • Facilitate class discussions and activities
  • Grade student speeches and provide feedback
  • Develop and maintain an electronic website associated with the course
  • Collaborate with faculty to develop the class and assess student work

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech Communication or related area
  • Preferred: Teaching experience at the college level, two years of experience helpful
