Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Speech 101, a basic oral communication course. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the class, grading student speeches, and teaching basic communication processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Speech 101 face-to-face, covering a multitude of speech topics
  • Facilitate the class and grade student speeches
  • Teach basic communication processes and work with faculty to develop the class and assess student work
  • Maintain an electronic website associated with the course through BlackBoard

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech Communication or related area required
  • Preferred: Teaching at college level, two years experience helpful
