About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a Companion Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, promoting their independence, and supporting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining their dignity and respect
  • Encourage clients to participate in mild exercise programs and activities that promote physical health and mobility
  • Remind clients to take their medications and provide support with medication management
  • Assist with light housekeeping and grocery shopping, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including providing emotional support and companionship
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • One year of experience as a Companion Care Homemaker/Companion Care Provider preferred
  • Ability to carry out tasks in a professional manner and adhere to policies regarding professionalism and boundaries
  • Must demonstrate a compassionate nature and possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Proficiency in the English language is required
  • Computer proficiency required
