Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Product Development Teams: Manage teams that build AI platform solutions to power RelativityOne's AI feature set, adhering to Relativity's AI Principles.
  • Evangelize AI Platform Infrastructure and Tooling: Drive adoption of generative AI and LLM capabilities, leveraging GPT-4o, to deliver on product needs and operate at massive scale.
  • Oversee AI Service Procurement: Ensure capacity planning, cost-effectiveness, and enhancement of broader product capabilities, driving world-class customer experiences.

  • Advocate for AI Platform Products: Passionately advocate for the benefits of our AI platform products.
Customer Centric

  • Validate Solutions: Validate solutions with internal customers for feedback in product discovery.
  • Ensure Business Problem Solving: Ensure we are solving business problems with the proper balance between delivering on immediate customer needs and building capabilities for mid/long-term success.
  • Evangelize to Internal Teams: Evangelize to internal AI application teams about the benefits of adopting AI platform components and tooling.
  • Partner with Engineering: Partner with Engineering in product discovery to build deep alignment on problems to solve and key results to target.
Product Leadership
  • Own Product Roadmap and Backlog: Own the product roadmap and backlog for your products, focusing on outcomes we want to achieve over features we want to ship.
  • Own Strategy and Vision: Own the strategy and vision for your products, ensuring we are maturing quarterly in each aspect of the ML Ops lifecycle.
  • Advocate for AI Principles: Advocate for Relativity's AI Principles throughout internal decision-making.
  • Partner with AI Service Providers: Partner with AI service providers like Microsoft to evaluate AI offerings and lead planning on procurement.
  • Set and Track Key Metrics: Set, track, and report on key product metrics that are relevant to your domain.
Technical Leadership
  • Work with Engineering Counterparts: Work closely with your Engineering counterparts to ensure the team delivers a product that meets our scalability, reliability, usability, observability, efficiency, and performance standards.
  • Be Well-Versed in ML Operations: Be well-versed in technical aspects of ML Operations and broader AI tooling.
  • Understand Technical Challenges: Possess the technical acumen needed to understand the challenges faced by our internal customers, including the root cause of production incidents.
  • Cultivate Generative AI Understanding: Cultivate a deep understanding of generative AI technology and large language models.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Experience with ML Ops: Professional experience with ML Ops, AI tooling, generative AI, and LLMs.
  • Strong Proficiency with Data: Very strong proficiency with data.
  • History of Working with OKRs: History of working with OKRs (or other outcome-based frameworks).
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in software product management with 3+ years in AI specifically.
  • No Formal Education Required: Formal / collegiate education is not required to be considered for this role.
Compensation
  • Competitive Compensation: Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.
  • Total Compensation Package: This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives.
