Job Summary:

This internship is an entry-level role within the Professional Services division, working with our Financials solution. The successful candidate will provide superior customer support, assist with email communication, and contribute to the Enterprise Solutions NISC Community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer support to internal and external customers.
  • Assist with email communication and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Contribute to the Enterprise Solutions NISC Community by posting updates and engaging with members.
  • Follow up with customers on requests and procedures.
  • Assist with mass communications to customers.
  • Support the software release process.
  • Gather, maintain, and audit customer information in the configuration database.
  • Convey customer feedback to product development staff.
  • Participate in testing of new product development or enhancements and documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing system and training documentation.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of Project Management processes and theory.
  • Basic knowledge of Service Level Management (SLM) best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of the Utility or Telecom industry.
  • Familiarity with other integrated applications and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and training skills.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to deal effectively with customers.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong PC skills.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and teach others.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to interact positively with internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Certification:

  • High School diploma or equivalency required.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field.
