Key Responsibilities
  • Verify, allocate, and review general ledger reconciliations and schedules
  • Ensure reports, postings, reconciliations, and payments are processed in accordance with internal controls and procedures and are in line with general accounting principles
  • Periodic review of transaction postings within the general ledger
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for reconciliation, Balance Sheet review, and weekly core team process
  • Process more complex journal entries and reconciliations as needed
  • Prepare and execute the completion of the DSAS Financial Library each month end
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as backup to other Senior Accountants for accounting, reporting, processing, and delivery of key reports due
  • Identify risks and process improvement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvements
  • Perform special projects as assigned
  • Exhibit excellent customer service acumen and support of team collaboration
