Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Centre, Alabama. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations for students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and delivering engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
  • Deliver high-quality therapy sessions that promote students' communication skills and confidence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and provide a comprehensive educational experience.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of services provided.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid SLP license in the state of Alabama or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is desirable.
