Daily Responsibilities
In the role of Coastal Management Cleaning Specialist, you will play a key part in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our beaches. Your daily tasks will include:
- Operating beach cleaning vehicles to remove debris and maintain beach aesthetics.
- Securing equipment for transport and ensuring proper handling of tools.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and collaborating with various departments.
- Completing necessary documentation and forms accurately.
- Providing support during special events and fostering positive interactions with beachgoers.
This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our beach maintenance efforts.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Coastal Management Cleaning Specialist position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid Class C Texas driver's license.
- Ability to obtain Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) certification (training provided upon hire).
- Capability to drive in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to perform demanding manual labor and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in operating a 3/4 ton truck.
Work Schedule
This full-time position operates on a rotating schedule that may include weekends, holidays, and special events, adapting to the needs of the organization.
