JEO Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Municipal Engineer to join our team. As a Municipal Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping cities with their engineering needs. You will collaborate with our technical experts in the municipal sector, working on a broad range of projects, including road infrastructure, water supply and distribution, wastewater management, and stormwater drainage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the point of contact for civil engineering projects with municipal settings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and managing client expectations.
  • Develop and oversee project budgets, understand client expectations, and coordinate with consultant project managers to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Implement organizational measures to manage numerous project activities, document communication, and coordinate across multiple departments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including planners, surveyors, and architects to ensure project success.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in civil engineering or planning or public administration, with a focus in municipal projects (preferred)
  • Strong project management skills and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
