Position Summary:
As an Audio/Video Production Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with our Technical and Creative teams to conceptualize and develop innovative audio and video projects. Your role will involve transforming creative ideas into tangible design elements that enhance our productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to create audio and video concepts, utilizing treatments and samples to convey initial design ideas.
- Design and produce audio/video elements tailored to project specifications and artistic vision.
- Present design concepts to project teams and senior management, articulating the vision and execution strategies.
- Generate final audio and video content for various presentations, live performances, and special events.
- Capture, edit, and archive video content from live events, ensuring quality and accessibility.
- Manage audio/visual purchasing and budgetary considerations effectively.
- Conduct regular quality assessments to maintain high standards of creative output.
- Oversee daily management of park sound content, including monitoring decibel levels and addressing any issues.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in audio and video design or production within the entertainment sector.
- Proficient in audio/video development software such as ProTools, Reaper, Logic Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro X, and QLab.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with various software platforms, including Apple OSX, Compressor, and Keynote.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Theatrical Production or a related field, with a focus on audio/video production.
- Proven experience in managing projects from inception to completion.
- Understanding of live entertainment production within a theme park context.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating effective multitasking skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities to drive project outcomes and foster team development.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address challenges and maintain focus on priorities.
- Excellent communication skills across various business levels.
- Adaptability to work in fast-paced environments with evolving production schedules.
- A passion for delivering high-quality results in both the final product and the production process.
