- Perform point-of-care testing, such as whole blood glucose
- Assist with caring for patients with a focus on progress toward discharge
- Participate in care planning and the nursing report process
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, oral care, and skin care
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent
- Less than 1 year experience in a healthcare setting or completion of certified nurse assistant course
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
This role requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently. The ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and colleagues is essential.
