Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a skilled Diesel Service Journeyman/Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing complex mechanical work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform skilled and complicated mechanical work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components.
  • Troubleshoot major problems and advise the Service Foreman on additional repair work.
  • Work with and help train Apprentice Technicians.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly working area and proper handling of company tools.
  • Participate in training to stay abreast of new technology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements:
  • CDL
  • A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience or vocational
  • Necessary tools to perform position
  • Good customer relations and communication skills
