About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Delaware North in Sequoia National Park. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness of all rooms and public areas, assigning tasks to team members, and ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily activities and plan for sufficient staffing to clean guest rooms and public areas
  • Inspect guest rooms and public outlets to ensure cleanliness and quality standards
  • Prepare weekly inventory, check-in all supplies, and report any discrepancies
  • Complete the daily housekeeping report and ensure all maintenance requests are handled efficiently
  • Perform cleaning duties on slower days or when staff shortages occur
  • Operate company vehicles for transportation across the property as needed
Requirements
  • Housekeeping experience required; previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures
  • Ability to read in English; ability to print and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
  • No college degree required
  • A valid driver's license
Working Conditions

Frequent walking and standing for entire length of shift. Frequent climbing of stairs. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying. Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces.
