Echo Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Echo Technician to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our non-invasive cardiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac exams, including echocardiograms, TEEs, carotid imaging, and tilt-table testing.
Responsibilities- Acquire and validate physician orders for exams, ensuring patient consent and proper equipment operation.
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms, including 2-D, M-mode, color Doppler, pulsed wave Doppler, and continuous wave Doppler, as well as TEEs and carotid imaging.
- Assist with head-up tilt table testing, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient reports, including previous images and exam data, and ensure proper storage and retrieval of archived data.
- Perform high-level disinfection and maintain equipment according to established policies and procedures.
- Registry eligibility for RDCS/RDMS-FE from ARDMS or RCS from CCI.
- Completion of an Associate's Degree or two-year patient-care related allied health education program, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in basic troubleshooting, equipment cleaning, storage, and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
