Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to our customers by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors in a safe and timely manner.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies to ensure quality work performance.
  • Support department operations by processing job tickets and work orders in a timely manner.
  • Provide necessary training to new or less qualified technicians as needed.
  • Maintain proper truck inventory and drive company vehicles safely.
  • Perform other related duties and projects assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of single systems, rack systems, display cases, and walk-in boxes.
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair computer controls.
  • Good mechanical and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and management.

Educational Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED is required; course work at an accredited vocational technical or trade school is preferred. A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, ice machine, and gas furnace installation, repair, and maintenance is also required.

Requirements:

  • Driver's license and CFC certifications are mandatory.
