Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team at The Mob Museum. As a Porter, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our speakeasy bar and kitchen operations areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, ensuring that all kitchen preparation equipment, service equipment, glassware, and plate ware are clean and sanitized.
  • Contribute to ensuring the highest quality food and beverage offerings are served on a consistent basis, while striving to achieve total guest satisfaction and a world-class guest experience.
  • Assist in the operation of a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen and bar, maintaining Museum standards of service and the timely completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Maintain sanitation in accordance with state and local health regulations, cleaning, sanitizing, organizing, and restocking as needed.
  • Properly label all prepared food and beverage items in accordance with Health Department standards.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing and other bar equipment, removing refuse to appropriate collections areas.
  • Maintain a courteous, professional, and friendly manner with fellow employees, volunteers, and guests.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work closing shifts and evenings as needed.
  • Must possess hearing, visual, and sensory abilities to observe and detect emergency situations.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to traverse stairwells, loading ramps, etc.
  • Ability to operate bar tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a variety of conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and noisy environments.
  • Possession of all required work cards, including the Southern Nevada Health District Food Handlers Card.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Work experience may be considered as a substitute for academic credential.
