Nucor Corporation, a leading manufacturer of steel products, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team in Longview, WA. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining a safe working environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform and coordinate all UT/VT testing within the facility
  • Report on progress of work in process, rework/repair orders, and production problems
  • Prepare reports following UT/VT testing in accordance with order requirements
  • Perform audits
  • Utilize ERP system to assist with production reporting
  • Perform equipment calibrations
  • Work on shop floor to support operations as required

**Requirements:**

  • Knowledge of VT Inspection Practices
  • Knowledge of UT Inspection Practices
  • Knowledge of AWS welding codes
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the steel industry

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Ability to read blueprints
  • UT Level 2 Certification - Currently hold or willing to obtain
  • ERP System Experience
  • Bachelors or technical degree helpful but not required
