Job Summary:

Morada Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion to join our team. As a Companion, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with non-personal, non-nursing self-care activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Provide homemaking services, including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation, to create a comfortable and safe living environment.
  • Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or mental conditions to the care coordinator or supervisor, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans, addressing the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident interactions, care provided, and any notable events or concerns.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodations.
