Role Overview:

As a Customer Relations Advisor, you will handle various routine financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately balancing the cash drawer and counting currency and coins.
  • Assisting customers in identifying the appropriate accounts to meet their financial needs.
  • Opening and processing a variety of deposit and loan accounts, including complex retail products.
  • Cross-selling additional bank services and referring customers to relevant departments.
  • Addressing inquiries and resolving complex issues related to customer accounts.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with all banking regulations.
  • Maintaining knowledge of policies regarding the Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable regulations.
  • Exemplifying the Umpqua corporate culture in all interactions.
  • Taking initiative and serving as a positive role model for colleagues.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.


Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong attention to detail and effective multitasking abilities.
  • Capability to comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with the ability to operate various office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Demonstrated sales aptitude.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent education.

Work Environment:

This position requires full onsite presence.
