JOB OVERVIEW - The Infirmary Unit ensures round-the-clock nursing support for the medical care of over 1400 inmates.

  • Conduct market analysis and research to establish fair pricing for goods and services.
  • Guarantee adherence to relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures concerning procurement.
  • Oversee the reception, evaluation, and processing of all purchase requests for a diverse range of commodities, supplies, and services for the Health Services Bureau, which includes a 13-bed infirmary.
  • This role also encompasses the supervision and training of Nurse's Aids within the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a medical environment and/or certification as a CNA, EMT, first responder, or other medical credentials.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience.
