Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumbing Technician with an active TOP SECRET clearance. This role involves the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures within a newly established facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting and analyzing blueprints and schematics
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Fitting and servicing appliances
  • Cutting, welding, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures
  • Conducting inspections and tests on plumbing systems to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with codes
  • Demonstrating knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems
  • Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System for data entry.

Qualifications:

  • Active TOP SECRET Clearance required; additional security clearance investigation upon hire
  • Journeyman Plumber or Master Plumber license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with CMMS is advantageous but not mandatory.

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Springfield, VA

Working Hours: Standard work hours – Monday to Friday (approximately 40 hours per week).
