Responsibilities
  • Ensure a fresh and appealing display by checking the quality of our meats, maintaining clean and well-stocked cases, and rotating and removing out-of-date products.
  • Maintain back stock in good order and assist with sampling programs to keep sample areas full, clean, and appealing.
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment, including counters, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains.
  • Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly, and model suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales potential.
  • Follow established procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Able to sell proactively and learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
  • Able to visually examine products for quality and freshness, read labels, and familiarize oneself with various products.
  • Assist with periodic inventory checks and deliver information clearly and respectfully to fellow team members, customers, and vendors.
  • Able to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Able to follow directions and procedures, manage time effectively, and maintain a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
