JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for organizing the workload and staffing of assembly operations based on product priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborates with the Assembly Line Supervisor to manage line workload and staffing according to product demands.
• Ensures that work adheres to Jabil's quality standards and closely monitors the Continuous Improvement Quality (CIQ) system to address any recurring issues promptly.
• Reduces changeover times through effective planning and organization.
• Minimizes excess materials on the production floor and ensures the proper storage and availability of operational supplies and equipment.
• Verifies that only accurate and authorized documentation is accessible on the line.
• Communicates any deviations or changes to employees effectively.
• Immediately informs the Manufacturing Supervisor of any employee-related issues, concerns, or suggestions.
• Strives for ongoing improvement in all areas of responsibility.
• Ensures that all line personnel are thoroughly trained, certified, and executing their assigned tasks competently.
• Motivates and encourages all team members to reach their full potential through timely feedback, both formal and informal.
• Monitors production metrics to ensure that all deadlines and schedules are met.
• Reviews relevant policies and procedures with line employees to ensure understanding and compliance.

May perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
• Proficient in problem-solving, data collection, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Competent in operating a personal computer, including familiarity with Windows-based systems and associated software.
• Advanced computer skills, including knowledge of Jabil's software applications.
• Capable of writing clear correspondence and understanding visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic operations and able to interpret graphs and data.
