Role Summary:
The Lead Technician collaborates with fellow installers and operates independently to execute installations and service requests. This role includes the responsibility for the prompt completion of daily tasks and associated documentation. The technician is also accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.

  • Exceptional communication abilities are essential
  • Self-driven, focused on tasks, and capable of implementing best practices
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute audio/video installations and configurations for single rooms
  • Set up and install satellite and cable systems
  • Install surveillance camera systems
  • Configure television systems
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting for basic systems
  • Install and set up basic networking/data systems
  • Perform basic programming for single-room advanced systems
  • Possess a foundational understanding of multi-room systems and configurations
  • Experience with Control 4 and Savant systems is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of surround sound systems for single rooms
  • Complete ProSource University training within the first year of employment

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
  • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call service schedule
  • Proficient in all Assistant level competencies
  • Competent in desktop and mobile computing skills
  • Clean driving record and successful background check (required for certification)
  • A minimum of one year of field experience is required
